General Dentistry
Dr. Anna Melissa Concepcion grew up in the small tight-knit and supportive Appalachian community of Norton, Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, 2001 and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, 2006.
As an undergraduate Dr. Concepcion volunteered weekly at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the outpatient cancer center. While at Tufts she continued her volunteering with Project CORRECT which aims to educate special needs patients on the importance of good oral health.
Dr. Concepcion is a member of the American Association of Women Dentists and participates in study groups with her peers. She stays current on the latest advances in dentistry by attending continuing education courses.
Currently residing in Manhattan, Dr. Concepcion appreciates the energy, drive, and possibilities this magnificent city has to offer. As an avid world traveler she has delighted in visiting such destinations as Machu Picchu and the pyramids of Egypt.
